You follow the leafy beach along the piers of the boat clubs, passing a cozy colonial area and some grand national-romantic villas. You stroll on past rows of frugal funky townhouses and visit the ABC city's innovative 1950s architecture in the shopping centre. Maybe you stop for a cold beer and play a game of boules, or have a coffee at a cafe you didn't know existed.

The book describes 14 hikes between 6 and 18 km. All tours start and end at points that are easy to reach by public transport. Not infrequently, there are nice restaurants and cafes in connection with the walk.
