Calazo's mountain classics are a series of books about the Swedish mountains that have been out of print by other publishers but which we believe are still interesting for today's mountain hikers. With this series, we want to let classic mountain books live on and become available to new readers. Most of the content in the books is still valid today, even though some of the books were published quite a few years ago.

The series includes six guidebooks by author and photographer Claes Grundsten. Few people can measure up to Claes Grundsten when it comes to knowledge of the Swedish mountains. With his magnificent pictures and in-depth guidebooks, Claes has for over thirty years inspired us and contributed to the way we look at the mountains and mountain hiking.

On a mountain tour: Kungsleden was published for the first time in 2008 and was then the first complete description of Kungsleden's entire stretch between Abisko and Hemavan. That book, in turn, was based on Claes Grundsten's three acclaimed books about the Kungsleden that were published between 1988 and 1995. The facts in this book apply to the conditions that prevailed at the time of the last revised edition in 2010.

Books by Claes Grundsten in the mountain classics series:
- On a mountain tour Abisko Kebnekaise
- On a mountain tour Arjeplogsfjällen
- On a mountain tour Kungsleden
- On a mountain tour Padjelanta Sulitelma
- On a mountain tour Sarek
- On a mountain tour Vindelfjällen
