The book describes the best hiking experiences on the coast of good, old Sogn og Fjordane, from Gulen and Solund in the south to Selje and Stad in the north.

A fjord and mountain landscape that has been voted one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the world. The book takes you to dramatic peaks such as Hornelen and Lihesten, peaks on most of the islands and mountains along the coast, and local tours in the villages and towns.

The book also contains hiking and cycling tours along the coast. The book contains 163 tours in the following municipalities / former municipalities: Gulen, Solund, Hyllestad, Fjaler, Askvoll, Flora, Bremanger, Vågsøy and Selje. Of these, 140 are mountain tours, 10 city center and cultural tours and 13 bicycle tours. The bike tours form a continuous route from south to north, plus detours to the islands, and are laid out so that you can cross the fjords by ferries and scheduled boats. The book has both easy and more demanding tours, with full descriptions, given difficulty, length and time spent. All the tours are drawn on maps and aerial photos. The book shows exactly where the tours start and where the routes go.
