This book describes over 60 hikes scattered all over Åland. Here you will find everything from walks in central Mariehamn to exciting hikes among red granite cliffs with a view of the open sea.

Alongside the natural experiences, you will encounter idyllic villages, small-scale agriculture and lots of historical remains. The book covers both the most popular trails on Åland, but also a lot of lesser-known trails.

The author Sanna-Mari Kunttu has for many years hiked, cycled, kayaked and made many other excursions on Åland. She keeps coming back because of the great diversity of natural areas and the beautiful cultural environments. Sanna-Mari herself lives in the Archipelago Sea, the coastal area between Åland and mainland Finland. She works with nature tourism and outdoor trails.
