Vandra i Provence

In France, it has been known for a long time – Provence is a fantastic hiking area!

Here you can follow dramatic coastal paths, roam the mountains around picturesque medieval villages or hike with magnificent views among the peaks of the Alps. The wealth of variety is enormous. The pleasant climate makes it possible to hike all year round and the many trails are both easy to reach and well marked.

This second edition has been expanded from 54 to 80 day hikes, most of which are easy or medium. They are divided into four areas: Western Provence, the Coast, the Pre-Alps and the Alps. The tours are between 4 and 16 kilometers long and the starting points are at most a couple of hours from Nice.

The authors Eva Wallstam and Bo Stenson have lived in France and hiked in Provence for many years. They have previously written the guidebooks Hiking in the Alps – Chamonix, Mountain hiking in Härjedalen and Flora for mountain hikers.
