Eric Tornblad has written several highly regarded books about outdoor cooking and has held courses and events about outdoor cooking for many years. And one thing he has learned - the dishes that are most popular are always the same: the desserts. That was the starting point for this book.

Here you will find classics such as hotam totam, crab cakes and shark banana, but also more unexpected treats such as baked apple pie and tiramisu!

The recipes are simple and adapted for outdoor life. They require few steps, a short cooking time and create minimal dishes - so you can enjoy more and hassle less.

A consistent thought in the book is that the dishes should work for both day trips and on a mountain hike. All recipes therefore have a variant that explains how you can adapt the recipe to a longer trip with overnight stays, where the ingredients both need to be easy to carry and can do without refrigeration.
