The Children's Mountain Book is written by Karin Runesson and illustrated by Emilie Bergman. Karin is a biologist and freelance writer who enjoys writing about nature and outdoor life for both children and adults. Emilie is an illustrator and graphic designer who likes to be in the mountains all year round. For Calazo, Karin and Emilie have previously made the very popular Children's Outdoor Book. Karin has also written the guidebook Hiking Around Falun & Borlänge.
