The Vätsäri wilderness area consists of a rocky land area north and northeast of the Inarijärvi swamp. The coniferous forest area east of the swamp is called Kessi.
Between Inarijärvi and the Norwegian border, a mosaic landscape of rocky pine forests, bogs, and hundreds of small lakes spreads out. In the northeast, the Vätsäri fell ridge rises, extending towards Norway.
The map is printed on Tyvek, which is waterproof and tear-resistant. It does not need to be protected from rain and will not be damaged during use.

Map scale
- 1:100 000 gives a better overview of larger areas.
- 1:50 000 is suitable for hiking.
- 1:25 000 is used for detailed orientation, for example when following paths, mountain terrain or smaller trails.
