Västra Mälaren 1:50 000

This is the western of Calazo's two maps at a scale of 1:50,000 that cover the whole of Lake Mälaren. It is as much a traditional terrain map for hikers as a sea and coastal map for paddlers.

In Calazo's sea and coastal maps, the same thorough work is done with local shorter hiking trails and the map covers, among other things, the Upplandsleden between Enköping and Härjare and the Bruksleden between Västerås-Surahammar and Västerås-Skultuna.
The map is supplemented with significant information for paddlers. This can be shallow and fairways, routes for archipelago traffic and other interesting services such as grocery stores and saunas in the archipelago. The map section for Western Lake Mälaren covers: Västerås - Surahammar - Köping - Kungsör - Enköping - Härjarö - Strängnäs - Mariefred

Calazo's maps are printed on the material Tyvek. Tyvek is a synthetic fiber that makes the map completely insensitive to water and very tear-resistant. A Tyvek map will not tear at the folds or lose its color when you use it.
