With map coverage on both sides, this map covers large parts of the Tromsø region, an area that is ideal for both skiing and mountain hiking. It includes the most popular mountain areas on the Tromsø mainland, Malangen and Kvaløya, featuring classic destinations such as Tromsdalstinden (1,238 m), Skittentinden (1,042 m) and Buren (802 m), as well as accessible cabins.
The map is part of Calazo's modern map series, featuring unique terrain information based on airborne laser scanning for exceptional detail and accuracy. We have used detailed aerial imagery to correct all trails in the area and have also identified and added many trails that were missing from official map databases.
The map also shows marked hiking routes and works equally well in winter with marked winter routes and groomed cross-country ski trails.
The map is printed on Tyvek, a synthetic fibre material that makes it completely waterproof and highly tear-resistant.

Map scale
- 1:100 000 gives a better overview of larger areas.
- 1:50 000 is suitable for hiking.
- 1:25 000 is used for detailed orientation, for example when following paths, mountain terrain or smaller trails.
